Just in time for your Rabbie Burns’ Day celebration (January 25th!), Scotland is pleading with the US to re-allow the importation of haggis, Scotland’s national dish. Though I generally agree with Charlie McKenzie that most Scottish cuisine is based on a dare, I have tried haggis and it’s actually pretty tasty. Read Burns’ “Address to a Haggis“.
