Not the Harrison Ford movie, which is a good one, but the organization founded by pop star Peter Gabriel to get cameras (as well as secure, anonymous ways to share their films and other recordings online) into the hands of oppressed peoples around the world in order to document human rights abuses in countries without free media. The hope is that world opinion and pressure can be used to bring about change in areas where atrocities often go unnoticed by the rest of the world. Reason’s Jesse Walker has the story.
