So, my friend Brooke now has a court date for dance moves so smooth they were evidently criminal. (Background here.) Radley has an update on the case, noting that the case has been moved to federal court and a charge of “demonstrating without a permit” has been added to her initial charge of “interfering with an agency function.” Remember, she’s in all of this trouble because she danced quietly at the Jefferson Memorial to celebrate TJ’s birthday. If you think that bopping is not a crime, do what I just did and donate some cash for Brooke’s legal defense. This ought to be a slam-dunk case, but unfortunately she will need one of my ilk to represent her.
